Flow Regime
General characteristic pattern of fluid movement within a pipe or channel characterized by Reynolds number.
| Flow Regime | Reynolds Number |
| Laminar | Maximum (1500 – 3000) |
| Turbulent | Minimum (2000 – 6000) |
| Intermediate | In-between laminar maximum and turbulent minimum |
